In today's world, carbon dioxide emissions generated from vehicles are at an all time high. An average driver in America produces approximately 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide on a yearly basis from driving.

A study by the US Energy Information Administration found that in 2019, Delaware released approximately 13.6 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Nearly 30% of emissions released into the atmosphere are caused due to driving. From a global standpoint, in 2020 vehicles produces approximately 7.3 billion metric tons of carbon dioxide.
