Wellness and Nursing Mothers Room

The CANR Wellness Room is on the first floor of Townsend Hall (room 128). This reservable space is designed to provide privacy for nursing mothers as well as meditation, prayer, and reflection space. Sessions are limited to 45 minutes.

Townsend and Worrilow Halls Building Hours & Key Card Permissions (Updated Dec. 2023)

Townsend and Worrilow Halls both have UD One Card access during evening and weekend hours. This means that exterior keys will not work (and will set off alarms), and no one can enter the building unless they have approved access.

Time frames and associated details

Weekdays, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. — All Doors are unlocked.
Weekdays, 6 to 9 p.m. — Worrilow Main Entrance and the Townsend Lower Level Accessible (vending machine) Entrance are unlocked. Card access only at other entrances.
Weekdays after 9 p.m. — Key card access only.
Weekends — Key card access only.
If access is needed outside of this schedule for meetings or special events:

Submit a request to have the building unlocked for your event: email CANR-facilities@udel.edu. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Submit a request for one-time access to the building email canr-facilities@udel.edu with the date, time and your UDID #.
Submit a request for all-access (faculty and staff only).
