Set design is a passion I have enjoyed for many years. With the unique challenges of each different show, there is always a new idea and technique to try. From classwork to real sets, I have gained experience with each new production. Set design allows me to be creative in a tangible and live space, and I improve from feedback from actors on stage and audiences watching the performance. I began learning about set design through stage design models, understanding scale and sight lines. I then worked on Into the Woods with Muir Musical, which was the largest set I have ever built. Then I worked on the set of Something Rotten which had many unique shaped pieces and interactive features.
