Aside from classwork, work and club, I also enjoy creating complex physical art projects. These pieces include several different materials to create, including paint, resin, glass, wood, and others. Below I have included some works I have made.
2023 Epoxy and Steel Bench
This is a public bench I designed for UCSD in collaboration with a glass blowing studio. Once my design was laser cut I sanded the steel frame and added epoxy resin of different colors in the cavities of the back. The bench is now installed at 8th college at UCSD.
2024 Peacock Stain Glass
The piece above is a large faux stain glass hanging. I sketched my design and then finalized the lines digitally so I could laser cut the frame. Once I had the frame I planned the colors I wanted to use and filled each section with epoxy resin. The piece came out colorful and structurally sound.
