On the first night of class I found it to be a daunting task to draw a figure doing different poses for 30 second increments. My hand began to cramp as I sketchily tried to capture the form. After 10 min I felt like giving up.
In the last class of the quarter I was able to capture the figure during 5 second increments easily. I had done it so many times before and thanks to my handy dandy warm up I felt loose and capable of capturing the shape and form while keeping the line of action visible.
What felt grueling in the beginning turned into a great way to start class. The accomplishment of 10 weeks of work is on display here.
