Instructions for the first website
For this section, we will be focusing on math. When you click the first link you will need to scroll down to where it says Number and Operations in Base Ten. In this section, I would like you to play Captain Plus and the Sum Bots it is titled Captain Plus on the main page. This is so you can work on your addition. You will be playing a variety of mini-games that will help you strengthen your addition skills. This will help as we move on to tougher math problems and will serve as a foundational skill. The next game in this section I want you to play is titled Missing Digits Addition. In this game, you will be working to figure out where the numbers go to make the addition statement true. This will strengthen your addition skills as well as help you build problem-solving skills.
Instructions for the second website
On the second website, you will play Minus Mission to work on your subtraction. In this game, you will be using your arrow keys to move and can use either your spacebar or your up arrow key to shoot. This will help your subtraction skills because this game requires fast thinking. Another game on this website that I would like you to play is called Weighing Fruits. It will require you to know which numbers have greater values than others. This will help build your math skills. The last game you will play on this website is called Island Chase which requires you to think on your feet and subtract quickly to win the race.
