Define keywords

• Use brainstorming to identify keywords that describe your topic.

• Keywords are the main elements of your research question. 

Expand and/or narrow the keywords using:

1. • Synonyms (other words with the same or nearly the same meaning), and 

   • Related words - broader terms and/or narrower or more specific terms for your topic.
