I attended the regular meetings for new faculty, which occur every other Friday during Fall and Spring semester.

I volunteered to help out at the November Telescope Repair party. No students showed up, likely because it had been raining, but I was excited for the opportunity to get familiar with the Makerspace. I met Alex from the Riverside Astronomical Society, met some Physics students who were working on rockets, and chatted with Jessica about getting more involved with Astronomy Club.

I attended the keynote and the following breakout sessions:
