Students are required to read 30 minutes nightly or 150 minutes a week. Students can log the books that they read into a Digital Reading Log.

Reading response questions will be given in class at least twice a week. One of those will be an online informational text story from Readworks.org or Commonlit.com

Caesar’s English will start in October. The stems/words will need to be studied nightly, and tests will be on Monday each week. The links to all the Quizlets are located above by grade level.

You can find it on Canvas daily. The details for homework assignments and projects can always be found there. Please sign up as an observer for your student's courses. Students can view their grades in the Grades tab or the calendar on Canvas.

As special area teachers with over100 students, we hold conferences as needed for students with academic concerns. If you have any questions about your child's progress, I'm happy to answer them. You can find grade updates on PowerSchool and Canvas. If you'd like to learn more about the skills your child is learning, I post our daily class activities on Canvas.
