Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to disclose my name?
No. You are given the option to identify your submission with your initials or anonymously if you are not comfortable sharing your name.
Can I submit more than one photo?
Yes! The submission form offers multiple spaces to respond and upload photos. If you find that you have more responses, you will be able to submit another response. Simply reopen the submission form, fill out your general information again, and submit your additional responses.
Who has access to my submission answers?
The team putting together the digital map will have access to all of your answers on the submission form. After the team goes through your submission, your submission titles, descriptions, and photographs will be added to the digital archive. Important to note is that all information submitted is considered to be "donated" to the LGBTQ Center OC. These answers will be shared on a story map and will be accessible to the public. Any information you do not wish to share (ex. full name) will not be presented publicly.
When will submissions close?
Submissions are open indefinitely, as of Spring 2022.
