Stories Disclaimer

This project aims to depict the important moments of Orange County's LGBTQ+ Youth in its many facets. We celebrate the moments of discovery, companionship, romance, and joy that come with being a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

We also recognize the unjust discrimination and acts of cruelty community members face. We do not want to shy away from these moments in presenting the LGBTQ+'s existence here in Orange County. We do, however, want to offer a notice before exploring this project further: responses detailing harm have been included in our Story Map. These moments are marked as a Purple/Lilac color block to notify you ahead of time that the submission may include details that may harm your wellbeing. Further details concerning the potential triggers are included on a case-by-case basis, allowing you to determine if the content is suitable for you to read. We entered this project aware that such submissions would be a part of our story. We extend the same awareness to you as well.

Onwards and upwards, my friends! Your community awaits you with open ears and arms.
