Cynthia: Where do I begin with Petr? I guess the best way to explain it is a derpy drawing of Peter (our mascot). If you see a hoard of people running around campus, a) I am probably one of those crazies and b) they’re likely running for a Petr sticker. Petr was started by @petr_the_anteatr the year before we came to campus. He created it to bring our community together, which I like to believe was achieved. Since he revealed himself, others have decided to take the helm and continue to produce them. There are a multitude of accounts where people share their designs and announce their “drops.” Drops are the time where the people who run the accounts distribute their stickers at a location that isn’t typically revealed until the time they select. I recommend that you go to at least one drop during your time here. It’s an experience I think everyone should have at least one exposure to. I actually bonded with some people, including Jessica, by going to drops together. I have many fond memories associated with the drops, and now have a basket full from my first year.
Vy: Petr stickers are soo cute. It’s always fun and exciting to run to where there’s a drop happening. I used to be crazy about them during the summer as well as the beginning of fall. I got busy as the quarter went on so I wasn’t able to collect more…
Cynthia: To respond to what Vy said, it’s really about your priorities, and whether you truly care to collect them or not. I think that going for them can be rewarding in a way. Running for them was pretty much mine and Jessica’s workout for the day.
