If you didn't already know, your options are single (1), double (2), triple (3), or quad (4).
While Middle does have Brandywine, I would say the general consensus among the student body is that the Eatery is far better. You will get tired of the food regardless of where you go, but the Eatery is consistently better. It is also cleaner, despite Brandywine being newer.
I notice that people like to hang out in Mesa more than Middle. When I walked back from Middle at night, I noticed more people walking back to Middle from Mesa. Just saying…
Middle was in the process of building one, but corona hit and I’m not sure how close it was/is to completion.
You’re literally right there. Nothing more to say about that.
It’s probably a 10-15 minute walk. Mesa is about half an hour by the Anteater Express or 45 minutes on foot.
I’m aware you find this information yourself on the Student Housing site, but let’s be honest, you’re here because I have the information on this site. (I apologize for the not-so-funny joke.) Anyway, I would say the tower quads are around as much as the triple classics. If cost was what you were concerned with, I would go with either of those options. If you’re comparing triple towers against classics (in Middle), the towers are more expensive. Obviously, your most expensive option is going to be the singles. The general rule is the less you have, the more you pay.
I was placed in a random Mesa classic triple. I thought there was enough space. It actually ended up being bigger than I thought it would be.
The Middle Earth Towers are the shiny new toy that all incoming first years want. Unfortunately, most of us don't get what we want and end up scattered around the other housing communities.
