Patricia Cruz created the 52nd Chicano Park Day Virtual Commemoration poster to honor Tommie Camarillo, the park's "Adelita por Vida" (Soldier for Life). The virtual commemoration ran between Monday April 18th and April 24th. This commemoration focuses on how to "preserve the history of the struggle." Camarillo is depicted in traditional regalia standing in front of the kiosko. The poster also honors David Rico and Antonio Camarillo, two prominent Chicano Park activists who passed away in 2022.
