Patricia Cruz created the poster for the 50th anniversary Chicano Park Day. Chicano Park's "Celebration from Home" was the first time that the event was held in spirit rather than at the physical park due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In a community like Barrio Logan this phenomenon had a higher impact than for other more affluent communities, where people depend on socialization to care and look after each other. CThe Chicano Park Steering Committee remained connected to the community through their YouTube Channel and regular streamings of interviews and stories.
