Welcome to the 4th Student Global Farm Symposium website, where students share their experiences and ideas about farming, agriculture, and sustainability worldwide!
Our virtual symposium provides a unique opportunity for students to connect, exchange knowledge and learn from experts in the field. We aim to create a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about farming and sustainability and committed to positively impacting our planet.
The 2024 Symposium's theme is "Working with the community for the community." We recognize the our world's most complex sustainability challenges will require a community approach. The UN Sustainable Development Goals challenge us all to make this world a better place. These goals require open-mindedness, interdisciplinary, systems-thinking and the ability to test and share ideas in real-world settings. They demand the ability to communicate across cultures, empathize, and move in the spirit of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Student farms around the world provide ideal settings to create, incubate, explore, and share novel ideas that can contribute to many of these sustainable development goals.
This will be an informal and celebratory symposium! We hope that your team will be interested in sharing your projects with other student farms around the world! We have so much to learn from each other.
Join us to hear presentations and workshops from students from Canada, Morocco, Romania, and the United States.
