Eduardo is a highly motivated and accomplished graduate student at North Dakota State University, pursuing a Master's degree in Plant Sciences with a specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics. His research, conducted under the guidance of Dr Juan Osorno, focuses on seed quality and seed coat of common beans, a critical area of study in agriculture that has significant implications for crop yield and quality.
Eduardo's academic and personal pursuits reflect his dedication to leveraging technology in agriculture. His proficiency in utilizing various technological tools has enabled him to undertake several agriculture-related projects, demonstrating his versatility and adaptability.
In his free time, Eduardo prioritises a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, engaging in physical activities such as playing soccer and exercising, and pursuing his intellectual interests by reading about science and learning about the latest advancements in technologies applied to agriculture.
Overall, Eduardo's exceptional academic record, research expertise, and personal interests make him valuable to the agricultural research community.

Godwin Abugatwin Abugbilla is an aspiring Information Security Analyst and IT Manager who is passionate about IT and data analysis, as well as making a difference in his community and improving the lives of others.
Born and raised in the small farming community of Kpantarigo in the Upper East Region of Ghana, Godwin faced numerous challenges in his pursuit of education. He is proud to be the fourth person from his village to attend university and hopes to inspire and motivate others to follow in his footsteps.
Godwin is a student at Ashesi University majoring in Management Information Systems with hopes of completing his bachelor’s degree in the fall of 2025. He has the necessary skill set and educational background to delve deeply into data and technology. His drive to learn new things and eagerness to learn facilitate him to react quickly to global changes.
Yohannes Bimrew
TOPIC: A Micro-Hydro Electric Generator Project for sustainable farming practice
Yohannes Bimrew is an agricultural science student at EARTH University who is passionate about social entrepreneurship and sustainability. He has dedicated himself to various projects that aim to promote sustainable agriculture and renewable energy.
One of his projects involves the distribution and installation of solar panels in rural areas where there is no access to electricity. Yohannes has also developed an innovation called HuluBeje, a movable micro-hydro electric generator that generates electricity by using the natural flow of small rivers in rural areas.
Currently, Yohannes is working on a project called Eshet, which aims to integrate agriculture and technology to help farmers access training, inputs, and markets. Eshet aims to help smallholder farmers overcome the challenges they face in improving their farming practices and accessing markets to sell their produce.
Delaney Sondag
TOPIC: Accelerating decomposition of cover crop residue in no-till organic vegetable cropping systems
Delaney is pursuing a master’s in International Agricultural Development at UC Davis. Her research focuses on the no-till cover crop termination feasibility in an organic vegetable cropping system. Specifically, she is researching the effect applications of vermicompost tea and microbial inoculant have on the decomposition of cover crop residue.
Delaney is also interested in participatory-based research methods that directly addresses the needs of farmers. Prior to starting her master’s degree, Delaney worked on a diversified livestock and vegetable farm in New York where she farmed full-time as well as developed a composting program that allowed CSA members to compost their food scraps at the farm.

Adam is an agent of change in his community developing his skills in agronomy (agricultural engineering) and leadership in Costa Rica at EARTH University.
He has multilingual abilities having studied in English, Afrikaans and Spanish. He was the chairman of the Representative Council of Learners in his high school, Pretoria Boys High School, in 2020 and the Class Representative for his previous University (University of Pretoria) in 2021.
He is a wine enthusiast and has ambition of joining the viticulture industry upon the completion of his studies. Apart from being the master of ceremonies for the 3rd Global Student Farm Symposiu.
he is also the agricultural specialist in a SDG aligned challenged focused on finding a solution to the SDG2: zero hunger goal of 2030

Good Day. Hello everyone,
My name is Lillian Huyana Hall. I am a young Miwok Woman from the Ione Band of Miwok Indians Tribe, located in Ione, California. I am currently residing in Bellingham, Washington to pursue higher education at Northwest Indian College. I am in my third year, my major is Tribal Governance and Business Management. While just starting to get into policy work based around Indian Country.

Since starting at Northwest Indian College I have been working with others to revive the college gardens. In addition, from the ages of 15-19, I traveled around North America working with various native organizations such as the Intertribal Agriculture Council to learn with and inspire youth and communities to reconnect with their traditional food ways, while always remembering to give back and never take more than what is needed.
