HERO Partnership USAID Opportunity 2.0
With the OSYs in mind, Opportunity 2.0 established an alliance with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) all over Pasig City. The Alliance aims to bring in the collaborative efforts of local government, educational institutions, non-government organizations, civic organizations, and the private sector in providing education, employment, and livelihood opportunities for vulnerable yet valuable OSYs.
Part of this alliance was the Training of Trainers for HERO that was held last March 30 to 31 at the University of Asia and the Pacific. The University was represented by the BIGGKAS+ Program Director, Mr. Fernand Francis M. Hermoso, University CRO, Mr. Ruben Nicolas, and the University NSTP Coordinator, Mr. Ernest Marc Castillo. Also present during the training of trainers were delegates from the Pasig Catholic College (PCC) as well as from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP).
