Background
This project was spearheaded by BIGGKAS+ TWG as a way of assisting our partner community of Brgy. Pineda as a fire ravaged a neighborhood of 98 families last February 1, 2022, displacing them from their homes in the midst of the pandemic. The University was able to raise an amount of Php18,100.00 and was donated to the community to help in the rehabilitation of the ravaged homes.
Impact
The amount that was turned over by the University to the Barangay was added to the fund for the reconstruction of the homes of the 98 families in the vicinity.
