Fellowship

Fellowship, to a Kappa Sigma, is the bond between friends and Brothers. It is one of the defining attributes of being a Kappa Sigma, and it is one of the "pillars" of our Fraternity.

Everyone knows and understands what literal Pillars do: they support a building or a specific part of it. But in many cases, Pillars are used even when there are far easier ways to support a part of a structure. Why? Well, pillars are beautiful. They are a symbol of strength, and they lend a certain grace to any structure that they are a part of.

In much the same way, Kappa Sigma as an organization may stand without the same fellowship we enjoy, but it would be lacking the beauty of a lifelong commitment to fellowship, supporting, not just the Fraternity as an organization, but our fellow Brothers. Our Chapter takes every opportunity to create those bonds of Brotherhood, participating together in community service, extracurricular activities on campus, and various events as a group, such as float trips, bonfires, and tailgating.
