U of A MD students in their first two years of the program are 'preclerkship' students. The U of A MD curriculum will be delivered in a block format during this time. This means each year is sectioned into ~4-12 week blocks with a learning focus on one body system per block. A subject area expert will be the course coordinator for each block, and you will receive instruction from various experts. A set of learning objectives is provided as a guide for each learning session, but remember that any information delivered can be tested.
In this section of the website, an overview of the preclerkship program is provided.
