This site is the one-stop hub for University of Alberta MD students developed collaboratively with students, for students!
The UAlberta MD Program is a rigorous 4-year journey to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. In the first two years, known as "preclerkship," students dive into a blend of classroom learning, hands-on lab sessions, and early clinical exposures that lay the foundation for future practice. The final two years, called "clerkship," immerse students in real-world clinical settings, rotating through various specialties, engaging directly with patients, and becoming integral members of healthcare teams.
