All U of A students and staff have access to the G Suite of productivity apps and unlimited space on Google Drive.
You can access UAlberta G Suite through the following methods:
Navigating to the top of any university webpage and selecting ‘Email & Apps’.
Browsing directly to https://apps.ualberta.ca/
Log in to Gmail then click on the menu button to access the G Suite apps
Log in to Google Drive then click on the menu button to access the G Suite apps
To sign in use your CCID and password.

The University of Alberta uses Gmail to handle emails for the University.

Google Drive provides file storage and synchronization. Use Google Drive to store and share your files. Google Drive allows you to easily add Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides to your drive.

Google Meet is an online video meeting tool.
Similar to Microsoft Word, Google Docs is an online word processor.
Google Sheets is an online spreadsheet provider, similar to Microsoft Excel.
Similar to Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides is an online presentation provider. Google Slides does not have all the same advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint.
Google Chat is Google’s online messaging tool. Google Chat is integrated with Gmail.
Google Keep allows you to create notes and lists with structured information and subtasks.
Google Forms is a tool that allows you to create an online fillable form that can be used as a survey or quiz.
