June 2017: The paper “Impact of environmental conditions on bacterial photoreactivation in wastewater effluents” was selected by the handling Editor as one of the top 10% of papers published in Environmental Science: Processes & Impacts. This selection was based on the exceptionally positive referee reports that the manuscript received during peer review, along with the Editor’s assessment of the significance and impact of the paper.

October 2018: Mr. Abdallatif Abdalrhman received the Petro-Canada Graduate Scholarship in Petroleum Engineering. The award is valued at $5,000.
June 2018: Mr. Abdallatif Abdalrhman received the DAAD-RISE (Research Internship in Science and Engineering) Professional Scholarship offered by the German Government to conduct an internship in Germany from June to September 2018. The research topic was “Analysis of structure-performance relationship for middle distillate flow improvers (MDFI)”. Mr. Abdalrhman worked as an R&D intern at BASF SE, the largest chemical producer in the world.
April 2018: Mr. Abdallatif Abdalrhman received the Graduate Students' Association (GSA) Academic Travel Award. Academic Travel Award in the amount of $500.
