The Faculty of Education Graduate Student Travel Award program is intended to assist with the cost of travel expenses for students' active participation at a conference or research trip (expose your research results and conclusions to peer review, test ideas with acknowledged experts, etc, etc).
For eligible students interested in applying to the award, please:
Review award guidelines for more information;
Complete the Travel Award Application Form;
Forward supporting documentation (a note of support for this travel from your direct advisor or supervisor AND the event organizer's confirmation notice regarding your participation at this event) to edgsea@ualberta.ca. Applications received without these two pieces will NOT be reviewed or considered.
Award Notes:
Travel award funding is not a guaranteed source of funding for students and is subject to availability. The Faculty will offer as many travel awards as the annual budget will support. Once funding is expended, applications will no longer be accepted.
Award is ongoing and there are no application deadlines.
If approved, you will receive payment via direct deposit, usually in the month of your proposed travel date.
