The Faculty of Education publicly recognizes excellence in teaching through a number of specific teaching awards. These awards are adjudicated by the Faculty of Education Teaching Awards Committee. The Adjudication Committee for the Faculty of Education Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Use of Technology for Teaching and Learning consists of three members of the Faculty’s Technology Advisory Board, in addition to the Chair of TAB. Submission details and deadlines are outlined in the above link which also provides Faculty specific eligibility requirements, adjudication criteria and instructions for this award.
In some cases, applicants may be considered for related university level awards in addition to those at the faculty level. In such cases, separate applications are often required. Due to the limited number of nominees for each award, applications must be vetted through the Faculty of Education Teaching Awards Committee.
