Census 2021

In February 2021, the UAP-JEDI conducted a census to explore demographics and experiences in the Department of Physics. A few key takeaways are given in the infographic below (or in this pdf version). More details are available, including:

  • A report, including an analysis of the open-form written responses

  • A slide deck with the detailed results from the complete census

  • A copy of the questionnaire used in this census

Please stay tuned for upcoming meetings (mid-to-late Summer 2021) to provide discussion space around these results!

A pdf version of this overview sheet is available.

The 2021 Department of Physics census was initiated and overseen by Lindsay LeBlanc, with assistance from Kailey Peckford and the rest of the UAP-JEDI leadership team. Kailey Peckford received and analysed the raw results, and anonymized the data for review by the Census subcommittee consisting of Kailey Peckford, Sharon Morsink, Valerie Willier, Pramodh Senarath Yapa, Robyn Learn, and Lindsay LeBlanc.
