Sign-up to use the Nikon Ti2A Fluorescence Microscope Located in the Confocal Microscopy Facility (CMF) in the Kraemer Lab (SST 339).
The faculty member managing this equipment is Dr. Bradley R. Kraemer (Associate Professor, Biological Sciences, bradley.kraemer@uah.edu, office: SST 369P).
Instrument Use Policy
Access
New users:
Individuals who seek to begin using a microscope system must participate in two training sessions (each ~ 2 hours) before accessing the instrument.Â
Please contact Dr. Bradley Kraemer at bradley.kraemer@uah.edu to set up a training session.
Rules
We kindly request that microscope reservations please be limited to 2 hours per reservation. After-hours reservations (between 5PM - 9AM, can extend for up to 6 hours)
Beyond reserving the instrument online, please be sure to fill and sign the paper sign-in sheet when you begin and end your session.
You will need your own immersion oil and lens paper.
Please ensure that the door to the room is locked when you leave the room.
For after-hours access to the microscopes, please make sure to contact Dr. Bradley Kraemer about receiving a room key.
