Instrument Use Policy
Beyond reserving the instrument online, please be sure to fill and sign the paper sign-in sheet when you begin and end your session.
We kindly request that analysis workstation reservations please be limited to 4 hours per reservation unless you are booking within 24 hours. After-hours reservations (between 5PM - 9AM, are not limited).
Please ensure that the door is locked when you leave the room.
The Analysis Workstation is a high-performance imaging computer built for demanding microscopy data processing and analysis. Paired with a full suite of NIS-Elements Advanced Research software modules, it supports everything from routine 2D measurement to 3D voxel measurements, advanced deconvolution, tracking, and ratiometric imaging workflows.

The workstation runs NIS-Elements Advanced Research, giving users a powerful, flexible platform for processing and analyzing acquired image data.
General Analysis (GA2 & GA3) Image processing and measurement engine for custom and standard analysis routines. Supports ND (multi-dimensional) datasets, 3D features, JavaScript scripting, output controls, and a wide range of data management functions.
Extended Depth of Focus (EDF) Combines multiple focal-plane images into a single, fully focused 2D image.
2D/3D Deconvolution Suite Includes 2D Deconvolution, 2D Fast Deconvolution (Wiener filter, live or post-processing), 3D Blind Deconvolution, and 3D PSF/Wiener Deconvolution. Enables advanced live denoising, with Clarify.ai denoising included. A batching interface is also available for high-throughput processing.
