To create this college success roadmap, Rise First sourced tips and advice from existing first-generation, low-income students and recent graduates as well as educators from across the country. They hope this guide and tool will help you successfully navigate college and support your undergraduate journey.

Capital One First Gen Focus Program

The First-Gen Focus program is a 8 week program for incoming Freshmen and Sophomore students. The program is designed to offer the opportunity for professional and personal development within their 3 core program pillars: Financial Well-being, Personal Wellness, and Career Readiness & Persistence. The program is also designed to help you begin to confidently navigate through college and to prepare you for life after graduation.
