BUSBTC 310 - Creating Value with People
BUSBTC 310 - Creating Value with People
Develops the competencies required to lead and manage people in a variety of contexts. Topics include organizational behavior, team building, conflict management, motivation, negotiation, career development strategies, and ethical decision making.
These are the two main projects I did in the BUSBTC 310 course and they both were immensely helpful in allowing me to practice the skills I obtained in this course. The first one is a project I did by myself examining Amazons lower worker crisis. How they are struggling with getting a sufficient amount of loyalty to them as an employer and how they can try to fix this issue. This is an important thing for anyone going into business at any level to know and be aware of because without employees a company is simply an idea. The second paper is a group project we did that examined the diversity and management styles of teams and how different management styles and different approaches and levels of diversity can help or hurt a team and how important those factors are to a company.
