Formative Assessments (During the project)

  • Journal/Learning Log on Student Blog.

Students will blog about their learning experience, showing good examples of news reporting and analysis.

  • Creation of Article or Video on Collaborative Video Project.

Students will create video packages toward the Collaborative Video Project. These may be, but not limited to, interviews, spotlights of school events, weather reports... from around school.

  • Rough Drafts: Adapted Scripts for videos
  • Practice Presentations Test Video in Studio. Practice Speaking
  • Notes on technical skills.
  • Checklists of necessary equipment needed for tasks.

Summative Assessments (End of Project)

Students will create videos, brought together with student 'anchors' in the broadcast.

Other products may include animations for the video project, Videos for on-site reporting, Interviews with students, faculty, and other interests.
