This is the concept of our prototype. Our prototype will include one big 3D printed gear, resembling the big gear attached to the back axle on the Go-Cart, and we will also include a small gear which would resemble the small gear attached to the motor. Additionally, there will be a 3D printed chain used which will be attached to the two gears. The chain will connect to a hook and that hook will be connected to a box made out of PVC and wood and will also hold weights. How it functions is the small gear is attached to a screw driver and that will test the function of our gears and chain and will test if the gear and chain still work efficiently with the weight. If it doesnt work as efficiently as it should that means we would need to change the torque but highering the tooth count or lowering it. Additionally, making the box out of PVC tests if the PVC can withstand the weight.
