What is AVID?
What is AVID?
In U-46, AVID is a year long elective that teaches students strategies and skills to help them achieve their goals, thereby empowering students to succeed in middle school, high school, college, and beyond.
AVID helps students:
Develop strong study habits and organizational skills
Build leadership and teamwork abilities
Prepare for college, career, or military pathways
Set and track SMART goals for academic success
We believe every student can achieve when given the right tools and support!
