AVID Student Profile:

When considering students for the AVID program, our AVID Site team looks for the following criteria:

Desire and DETERMINATION to succeed academically
GPA (Grade Point Average) 2.0 and above. (Elementary math and literacy grades of 2's and above)
Average to above average IAR / I-Ready assessment scores
Satisfactory attendance and citizenship

Steps to Apply:

Select AVID as number 1 or 2 on your course selection sheet

Complete AVID Interview with member of HHMS AVID Site Team
