MONDAY
On Monday, our team focused on constructing the robot chassis. We ensured that the base was properly assembled and stable so it could support additional components later in the project.
TUESDAY
On Tuesday, we continued refining the robot chassis to improve its strength and durability. We made adjustments to reinforce weak points and ensure the structure was level. In addition, we acquired the dog carrier and took detailed measurements to determine how it would integrate with the overall design.
WEDNESDAY/THURSDAY: On Wednesday and Thursday, we worked on integrating the dog carrier with the robot chassis. We focused on proper alignment, balance, and structural support to ensure the carrier could be securely mounted. Throughout this process, we reinforced connection points and made adjustments to improve stability and weight distribution.
FRIDAY: On Friday, we completed the main structural build of the robot. We reviewed the overall assembly to confirm that all components were securely attached. We also began connecting parts to the Arduino and prepared the system for upcoming electrical testing.
Plan for Next Week:
Next week, our team will focus on completing all Arduino wiring and connecting the motors and electrical components. We will test the robot’s movement with the dog carrier attached and observe performance, balance, and stability. Any issues identified during testing will be documented and addressed.
Plan for the Following Week:
The following week, we will focus on refining the robot’s performance and reliability. We will resolve any problems found during testing, secure all wiring for safety, and conduct multiple test trials. Our goal is to have a stable, reliable, and fully functional robot ready for demonstration and evaluation.
