Week 44 (Oct 27 – Nov 2, 2025): Project Definition & Setup

Weekly Overview:
The team formally defined the project scope and objectives. Early discussions focused on understanding the required robot functionality, the integration of AI with mechanical components, and how to structure documentation for maximum clarity. This week was essential to ensure all future work had a clear roadmap.

Team Members & Roles (Established)

• Anuj – Lead AI Researcher and Programmer

• Slok – Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical Design, and 3D Design

• Anjali – Documentation Lead, Historian, and Aesthetics Organizer

Work Completed:

• Defined project goal: Build an AI-assisted robot capable of controlled movement using gears and mechanical linkages.

• Established team roles and responsibilities.

• Set up engineering notebook structure, including sections for AI design, mechanical design, materials testing, and final documentation.

Technical Contributions:

• Anuj: Took his role as AI expert and started to research

• Slok: Took his role as a 3-D model expert and materials expert to brainstorm different materials and the layout

• Anjali: Took her role as historian and established documentation and planned for future due dates
