When the first roof tile was lifted from an old structure, the Ganyuan community’s school-building initiative came to life. That moment marked more than the start of construction—it signaled the birth of an educational mission. Guided by the belief “Global Vision, Local Action,” New Taipei Municipal Tur Ya Kar Elementary & Junior High School (TYK) continues to grow through collaboration, community engagement, and purposeful innovation.
