Students who have completed their TSIA2 exams, but did not meet a passing score, will be enrolled in a program called Texas College Bridge. Texas College Bridge is an online program built to prepare students for college readiness as an alternative to the TSIA2. When students finish their College Bridge coursework, they will receive a certificate of completion that will also appear on their official transcript for future college admissions.
Texas College Bridge Overview
Students who have taken, but not earned a passing score on their TSIA2 exams are eligible for College Bridge.
If a student passed one TSIA2 exam, but not the other, they will be enrolled only in the subject they did not pass
Students will see a new course appear on their Genius Dashboard labeled "College Bridge-Math" and "College Bridge-English." The course will have a link embedded in it to take you directly to your College Bridge sign-in page. There will also be a College Bridge section added to the live lesson document in Genius with the link.
Students should plan to work in College Bridge at least 1 hour a week. This will include taking unit diagnostic tests, working through lessons, and completing knowledge checks.
College Bridge is added in addition to student's scheduled classes. Students need to work on classwork and then spend time in College Bridge.
