A workshop for TWU faculty who've taught public communication and are ready to write about it Friday, April 17 9-11:30am or 12:30-3pm
This workshop will guide participants in developing a publishable SoTL article about teaching public communication.
Faculty who already have something specific they want to write about are invited to register for either the morning workshop or the afternoon workshop. Participants should either have conducted a SoTL project related to teaching public communication or have taught public communication and want to write about a particular activity, assignment, course design, or teaching approach from their own practice. Because the workshop focuses on developing an article, participants should come with a concrete project, idea, or example they are ready to begin writing about.
Lunch will be provided between the morning and afternoon sessions for participants who would like to connect with colleagues by staying after the morning workshop or arriving early for the afternoon workshop. Please indicate on the registration form if you plan to attend lunch, so we can plan accordingly.
Come ready to brainstorm, outline, draft, or revise - wherever you might be in the writing process!
