From the original title “What’s New? News,” I decided to create a trendier and more catchy title for young learners. I named our English videos “Spill The News.” I want all English Week videos to start with this title, followed by details about the English Week theme.
In this video, I explained how Teachers’ Day is celebrated around the world. Next, I included a mini-quiz to test the students’ knowledge. Finally, the video ends with a short tribute to all teachers in their respective fields.
In this video, I started by explaining the history of Halloween and showed some fun costume ideas that the students could wear. The video also teaches students the greetings, “Trick-or-treat! Happy Halloween!”
In preparation for the school’s Sports Day on December 13, we taught the students the English words for the games and activities they will participate in. At the end of the video, we included a mini-quiz to check their understanding.
In this video, the students learned basic Christmas vocabulary. It was followed by a segment on how Christmas is celebrated around the world, including some of the delicious foods from different countries. The video ends with a short quiz to deepen the students’ understanding of Christmas.

On December 31, 2025, I had the opportunity to share my ideas and expertise with my local English teachers. The topic of the workshop was “Identifying Weaknesses, Maximizing Strengths in Learning English for ESL Learners at ChungShan Elementary School.” I shared my observations on the students’ strengths and weaknesses and suggested strategies to address these areas for improvement.
