Advanced Courses
AP
Please review the slide show below for general information about the Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment (ARC) programs to earn high school and college credit at Grant Union High School.
The Advanced Placement (AP) program consists of college level courses taught by high school teachers. If students pass the AP Test at the end of the school year, they can be awarded college credit by the college they later attend. They also earn a weighted grade for the course (when calculating GPA, an "A" would be worth 5 points, instead of the typical 4. (A=5, B=4, C=3, D=1, F=0). Grant currently offers 15 AP courses.
