Plant Biology at BHHS is a CTE DUAL CREDIT science course designed to provide each student with a strong science education, develop the skills necessary to evaluate and understand real world agricultural phenomenona that affect life, and prepare students for the 21st Century by building 21st Century Skills.
There are four goals for you this year:
Goal 1
I will develop my use of Science and Engineering Practices to understand and solve specific biological phenomena.
Goal 2
I will strengthen my understanding of the Core Ideas in Plant Science and Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Sustainability.
Goal 3
I can apply my understanding of historically important events and biological science to the importance of human accessibility to agriculture and plants.
Goal 4
I can make goals, reflect on my progress toward meeting the standards, persevere when tasks become challenging, seek help when needed, and be a productive member of our classroom community. (21st Century Skills)
