เมื่อวันที่ 17 ตุลาคม 2566 องค์กร เอ.ที.ดี. โลกที่สี่ ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรด้านการพัฒนาจากประเทศฝรั่งเศส ได้ร่วมกับหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชานโยบายสังคมและการพัฒนา (SPD) คณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ จัดสัมมนาเชิงปฏิบัติการ ในหัวข้องานที่มีคุณค่าและการปกป้องทางสังคม : ปฏิบัติการเพื่อศักดิ์ศรีสำหรับทุกคน  มีผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนาจากหลากหลายหน่วยงาน อาทิ UN Habitat กระทรวงพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ กรุงเทพมหานคร สถาบันวิจัยสังคม จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย องค์กร Home Net นักวิชาการ และนักศึกษา SPD

คุณ Markus Ruck ตัวแทนจากองค์การแรงงานระหว่างประเทศบรรยายเรื่องความสำคัญของงานที่มีคุณค่าและบทบาทหน้าที่ขององค์การในเวทีนานาชาติ นอกจากนี้ ดร.สรสิช สว่างศิลป์ ผู้อำนวยการหลักสูตร SPD ได้กล่าวถึงการคุ้มครองทางสังคมของไทย ผู้เข้าร่วมสัมมนายังได้ร่วม design thinking workshop: แผนที่ความเข้าใจ และพิมพ์เขียวการให้บริการ โดยใช้เรื่องราวของครอบครัวคนยากไร้มาเป็นกรณีศึกษา

On 17 October 2023, ATD Fourth World, an international French NGO, in collaboration with the Social Policy and Development (SPD) programme, Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University, organised a workshop on Decent Work and Social Protection: Putting Dignity in Practice for all. Participants were from different institutions, including UN Habitat, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Social Research Institute, Home Net, scholars, and SPD students.

During the event, Mr. Markus Ruck, a representative from ILO, delivered a talk on the significance of decent work and the ILO role on the international stage. Dr. Sorasich Swangsilp, the Director of the SPD programme, spoke about social protection in Thailand. A design thinking workshop, including Empathy Map and Service Blueprint, based on the story of a poor family in Bangkok, was introduced to participants.
