Below that you will find a picture schedule with steps that your child can follow for successful toileting. You will also find social stories for toileting. Social stories are short stories that you can read to your child prior to or during an activity to help him or her understand what they are trying to accomplish. When repeated frequently, social stories can help a child learn a routine or new behavior. At the bottom of the page are some other resources with ideas on potty training and toileting routines, including some in Spanish.
