As TSTC continues on its adventure with Workday, we'll have more companions joining us soon. TSTC Works Student is our next destination and will incorporate Workday into the journey of our students and those who guide them.
On September 5, 2023, TSTC will launch the first of a series of rollouts of TSTC Works Student. This follows the successful deployment of our Workday HR and Finance system last April. The fact that we already use it successfully in human resources, payroll, and expenses makes expanding it as the College’s full enterprise resource planning system the clear choice. Moreover, Workday for students will offer a more user-friendly digital experience, enabling them to register for courses, track their progress, manage financial aid, request an advising appointment, all through a mobile device! We will truly be able to meet students where they are, a benefit more crucial than ever.
The Student modules will be built into the same Workday you use today – no new login is needed for faculty and staff. Workday unifies Financial Management, Human Resources, Planning, and Student data processes into a single platform, creating instantaneous access to data that spans multiple disciplines.
This transition will impact students, faculty, and staff across the College, empowering the campus to work in a more integrated way.
