Where is the Advocacy & Resource Center located?
Abilene: Highway 80 Campus, located at 650 E. Highway 80.
Breckenridge: Main Building, located at 305 Booker Street.
Brownwood: Main Building, located at 307 N. Breckenridge Avenue.
Ft. Bend: Brazos Building in the Enrollment Suite located at 26706 Southwest Fwy.
Harlingen: Student Center (SC) room 123, located at 1902 N Loop 499.
Hutto: Can be reached by contacting the Waco ARC or the Campus Enrollment Office.
Marshall: 2650 E. End Blvd. S., Housing Development, Commons Area H Building, office #100.
Red Oak/North Texas: Can be reached by contacting the Waco ARC or the Campus Enrollment Office.
Sweetwater: The Student Center near the entrance of campus, located at 300 Homer K. Taylor Dr.

What is available at the campus Food Pantry?
Ft. Bend: Our Food Pantry has a variety of items such as snacks, canned goods, dry/boxed items, soups, pastas, personal hygiene items, dental care products, and school supplies
Harlingen: Our food pantry has a variety of items such as snacks, canned goods, dry/boxed items, soups and pastas.
Hutto: Our Food Pantry has a variety of snack items, breakfast food, dry microwavable pastas and school supplies.
Marshall: Pasta, soups, chili, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, sauce, vegetables, toilet paper, tooth brushes, tooth paste, shaving cream, razors, condoms, mashed potatoes, poptarts, tv dinners, lunch meat, burritos.
Red Oak/North Texas: Our Food Pantry has a variety of snack items, breakfast food, dry microwavable pastas and school supplies.
Waco: Our Food Pantry has a variety of items such as snacks, canned goods, dry/boxed items, soups, pastas, personal hygiene items, dental care products, baby items and school supplies.
West Texas (Abilene, Breckenridge, Brownwood, Sweetwater): Our Food Pantry has a variety of items such as snacks, canned goods, dry/boxed items, soups, pastas, personal hygiene items, dental care products, and school supplies. If one location doesn’t have something you need, we may be able to coordinate finding that resource at one of the other West Texas Locations.
How often can I use the Food Pantry?
Ft. Bend: Students can access the Food Pantry once a week.
Harlingen: Students can service the Food Pantry once every 10 days and the snack pantry once a day.
Hutto: Students can access the Food Pantry once a week.
Marshall: Students can access the Food Pantry once a week and shop 20 items at a time.
Red Oak/North Texas: Students can access the Food Pantry once a week.
Waco: Students can service the Food Pantry once every 10 days.
West Texas (Abilene, Breckenridge, Brownwood, Sweetwater): Students can access the Food Pantry once a week.
What are the requirements for the Childcare Assistance Program?
You must be enrolled 6 full credit hours, have and maintain a 2.0 GPA, have your child/children in a registered daycare licensed in the State of Texas and follow the guidelines outlined in the Childcare Assistance Program contract.
Can I still get a bus pass from the ARC?
Harlingen: All Harlingen students ride for FREE on the Valley Metro Transit System. The Valley Metro makes 26 stops a day on campus. Please visit http://www.lrgvdc.org/valleymetro/ for route schedules.
Waco: All Waco students can now ride the Waco Transit System for FREE! In order to ride the bus system, you will need a TSTC Bus ID. This ID can be obtained by contacting our Student Accounting Department.
How much does a counseling session cost?
Counseling is free for all currently enrolled TSTC students. We do not file claims on your insurance, and there is no cost to the student.
Will anyone know what is said during my counseling session?
Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to our counselors. There are circumstances where confidentially cannot be maintained, but your counselor will cover this with you at your first appointment.

After you click the database you'd like to access on Libguides, you'll be redirected to the TSTC LogIn page. Use your TSTC OneID to sign in. This is the same login that you use to log into the portal.
