"I have always had an interest in weight training, and love the feeling of getting stronger, but I was never consistent; and as a woman growing up in the 80s & 90s it was never encouraged, as the idea of “getting bulky” was frowned on for a woman.
Fast forward to 2025, I am now in my early 50s, and stronger than ever, thanks to Joe and the support from the TSM community. I have been training with Joe for almost 2 and a half years
Joe has been a guiding light in helping to set me on the path to realise my strengths, since I started training with him in December 2022, even on days when the self-doubt creeps in. His knowledge around weight training and nutrition is second to none.
I have even attempted exercises that have brought me out of my comfort zone. One of the highlights of my journey has been achieving the 100kg deadlift just last year.
