Hello! I am Samantha Stader, a second year teacher at Burnett Creek Elementary. I graduated from Purdue University (Boiler up!!) in December with a degree in Elementary Education. Not only was I in West Lafayette for college, but I've been in West Lafayette all my life! I graduated from Harrison High School - right across the street - in 2020.
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was around your kiddo's age! (See picture number 3 ☺️) I am so passionate about this profession and strive to meet each student where they are and provide them with the support and care that they need to succeed. I'm very eager to learn and grow right along side each of these students this year!
My teaching philosophy is that every child is capable and has the potential to learn and thrive in an environment that embraces their individuality and fosters a love of learning. It is my desire to create the type of atmosphere in my classroom where students can meet their full potential. I maintain that this is a safe environment, where students will be given the space to share ideas and take risks. I am committed to ensuring that every student feels valued and supported by prioritizing building a strong relationship with each student. By providing a nurturing environment where ideas can flourish, risks can be taken, and each student feels valued, I aim to inspire a lifelong love of learning and to help shape future leaders who are both knowledgeable and kind.
