In order for your child to fully reach his/her potential, the environment in the classroom needs to be structured in such a way so that all students can achieve learning. This goal can be accomplished if your child fully understands what is expected of him/her in the classroom and agrees to abide by the following classroom rules:
Rule #1 Follow directions quickly and quietly.
Rule #2 Raise your hand for permission to speak.
Rule #3 Raise your hand for permission to leave your seat.
Rule #4 Make smart choices.
Rule #5 Keep your dear teacher happy! (Be kind, be safe, and try!)
Students are regularly motivated to follow these expectations through positive words of encouragement.
If your child is asked to practice any one of the above rules, a 1-2 minute time will be set aside in class and/or a note may be sent home requesting additional practice.
